    Alzheimer's Respite Program
The Open House Senior Center's Respite Program is designed for individuals dealing with illness relating to memory loss. The program's closely supervised activities are tailored to individual needs and often include mild exercise, music, and daily living skills.

The Respite program meets every Tuesday from 10:00am-3:00pm at 6500 Stockton Avenue. The cost is $17.00 for El Cerrito Residents, and $22.00 for non-residents. Hot lunch can be added for an additional $2.00. Please call for payment accommodations.

In addition, this program encourages family members of the participants to use this time as a respite and leave participants at the Open House Senior Center program, so that they may enjoy some time to themselves. On the first and third Thursday of each month at 10:00am the caregivers meet to share information and support.
